Fred, is instrumental in setting strategy as an advisor to senior management. He is the Vice President of Business Development for Frontier Technologies, LLC dba: MicroAge in Tempe, AZ. In this role he is responsible for selecting, developing and managing a national field sales force.
During his 25 years with MicroAge, Hixon has held key development and sales positions, joining the company in 1980 as manager for the flagship MicroAge location. During his years at MicroAge, Hixon was active in franchising computer store locations, and was the leading development officer in establishing over 1,000 locations. In addition, he served as Vice President, Market Development for MicroAge Computer Centers, Inc., and for Pinacor. He has also served as Vice President of Development for Quality Integration Services
Hixon was awarded a M.A. in Communications from Arizona State University.
